"I will always regret not being able to have attended a live recorded concert, such as, "An Evening or The Wildlife Concert. That would have been the ULTIMATE!! What always impressed me was his personalization with his music. Not only did he share his sweet, beautiful voice and skillful playing of several instruments with us, he also shared stories about his family and his song inspirations. He wrote songs for many people as well as for the animals & the enviroment. With his music he helped many causes and donated time, money and effort to them. To me John Denver will always be a Country singer, however, many people thought of him as a Folk singer. I suppose he could be thought of as both. Although, to a small degree, he always wanted to be considered a rock singer." WSG | "The SPIRIT of John Denver ia all around us and is here to stay.!" WSG
"Thru, good, tender thoughts and actions, WONDERFUL things can occur." WSG |
My interests:
I have had the pleasure of seeing JD in concert many times. For that I will always be grateful. The first song that I heard was Country Roads, Take Me Home, all thanks to my paternal grandmother. YEAH, GRANDMA!!" WSG
